WALTER LUCIA received the M.Sc. degree in Automation Engineering and the Ph.D. degree in Systems and Computer Engineering from the University of Calabria, Rende, Italy, in 2011 and 2015, respectively. He was a Visiting Research Scholar with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Northeastern University, Boston, MA, USA, and Visiting Post-Doctoral Researcher with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, USA. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Concordia Institute for Information Systems Engineering, Concordia University, Montreal, QC, Canada. His current research interests include control of unmanned vehicles, switching systems, fault-tolerant control, model predictive control, and resilient control of cyber-physical systems. Dr. Lucia is currently an Associate Editor of the Control System Society for the Conference Editorial Board (CEB) and Chair of the IEEE Montreal Chapters Systems, Man and Cybernetics, and Control Systems.
